Pelmeni (пельмени) are traditional Russian and Siberian dumplings — thin dough wrapped around a savory meat filling. At Kalinka Euro Market we make them fresh in our store every day, and we keep a full freezer aisle stocked so you can take some home for later.

House-made
Every Day
Since 2006
Pelmeni are small dumplings made of thin unleavened dough wrapped around a filling of raw ground meat — usually pork, beef, chicken, or a mix. They come from the Ural and Siberian regions, where families would make big batches and freeze them outdoors in winter to keep on hand. Hunters carried sacks of frozen pelmeni into the taiga because they store for a long time and cook in minutes.
People often ask how pelmeni are different from vareniki and pierogi. Pelmeni are sealed into a round shape and filled with raw meat. Vareniki and pierogi are usually crescent-shaped and filled with pre-cooked ingredients like potato, cabbage, cheese, or fruit — and they can be sweet. Georgian khinkali are bigger, with a juicy broth inside and a thicker twisted top. We carry pelmeni and vareniki, and you'll find them right next to each other.
Whether you grew up eating them or you're trying them for the first time, our staff is happy to point you to the right filling. We speak Russian and English.
House-made in our store, plus a full freezer aisle. Availability changes day to day — call ahead if you want a specific filling.
Пельмени Свиные
Our most popular variety. Seasoned ground pork wrapped in thin, tender dough. Juicy and classic.
Пельмени Говяжьи
Hearty and rich, made with premium ground beef. A satisfying choice for a cold evening.
Пельмени Куриные
Lighter than pork or beef, with tender seasoned chicken. A favorite with kids.
Пельмени Сибирские
The traditional mix of pork and beef with onion. The way pelmeni were made in Siberia for generations.
Замороженные
A full freezer aisle of pelmeni and vareniki — veal, halal, and more brands to stock up and keep on hand.
Вареники
The sweet and savory cousin of pelmeni — filled with potato, cabbage, cherry, or tvorog. Also in the freezer.
Made in our store every day with premium ingredients — not shipped in from a wholesaler. Sold by weight at the counter. This is the closest thing to homemade pelmeni you'll find in the area, and it's what keeps customers driving in from across Clark County.
Our freezer aisle is full of pelmeni and vareniki — veal, halal, Siberian-style, and other brands. Grab a few bags so you always have dinner ready. Frozen pelmeni go straight from the freezer into boiling water and cook in minutes.
Pelmeni are about as easy as dinner gets — roughly 10 minutes from pot to plate.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. You don't need to thaw frozen pelmeni — they go in straight from the freezer.
Add the pelmeni and give the pot one gentle stir so they don't stick to the bottom.
In a few minutes the pelmeni rise to the surface. That's your signal that they're nearly done.
Once they float, boil another 3 to 5 minutes until the meat is cooked through. Drain.
Toss with butter and serve with sour cream and fresh dill. For a crispy version, pan-fry the boiled pelmeni in butter until golden.

Drop them into a pot of boiling salted water (no need to thaw frozen ones). Stir once so they don't stick, then wait for them to float — that takes a few minutes. Once they float, boil another 3 to 5 minutes until the meat is cooked through. Serve with butter, sour cream, and fresh dill. You can also pan-fry boiled pelmeni in butter until golden.
